My Town Is My Castle

My native town, Surgut, is very magnificent and beautiful. This town is in Khanty-Mansiyski Autonomous Region. There are many different trees and also larches.

I like my native town very much and I’m devoted to it! Surgut in autumn is fine! Many yellow and red leaves are like a carpet on the ground. And what colours! Red and orange, citric and yellow, golden and that green! Leaves fall from trees on a multi-colored parquet, as if ballerinas in smart suits!

What about winter? It’s magic is also mysterious! Sometimes, sitting at a window it would be desirable, that you were kidnapped by the Snow queen and that life was full of adventures! Winter is also cheerful! You may invite friends to take a walk and make snowballs, to breath the fresh air. And the New Year! It comes in winter. A lot of gifts and a lot of emotions. And even in the winter there is my birthday, February, 26th.

Spring in our town is unusual: running drops, snow and icicles, there are thawed patches. And even when you go on slush, it is pleasant for you!

Well, to what child is summer not pleasant? A vacation, the sun, pleasure, rest! What school, lessons and efforts! Summer in our Surgut is not warm, but also not cold. In June there are cold rains. But by the end of June it becomes warmer, and the warmth continues to the middle of August. At the end of August it is already cold.

Well, again to school! So quickly summer has flown by! Such is my native town!
