What Will Our School Be Like in the Future?

I am sitting at my desk trying to imagine our school. What will it be like in the future? And fantasy starts working:

So this morning our air bus came to our house to take us to school. With my personal laptop in my hand I rushed to the bus and I was late but caught it. Hardly had the doors closed when the air bus flew high up into the sky. It took it five minutes to get to school as the speed was great. Our school was a modern skyscraper made of glass and it looked like a huge crystal rock, with a lot of classrooms on each floor.

The first lesson on our time table was “Exploration of an Unknown Space Civilization”. To tell the truth, our classroom was practically situated in outer space, so we were wearing special costumes. With their help we could move up and down in any direction we liked. At the lesson the pupils were busy observing distant worlds using the best telescopes and special apparatus that sent important information back to the classroom. We were good at our scientific research. The pupils were not using daybooks because they were inside their costumes. Our teacher gave their marks using a special pen. The pupils couldn’t take off their costumes until their parents saw all the marks they got for the day. It was impossible to shout or to fight at school as the costumes had a special mechanism that punished a pupil for his bad behavior.

We believed that by the end of the century we would be able travel to far away worlds as easily as we go to Paris or St.Petersburg.

In conclusion I’d like to say: who knows, it may happen that some of you will go to the school of the future, where the impossible becomes possible, the unreal becomes real.

I do believe it!!!
