Составляем тесты сами

Попробуем формализовать процедуру составления тестов. Она состоит из пяти шагов.

1. Что является объектом контроля?

2. Список учебных целей.

3. Оценка уровня подготовленности студентов.

4. Составление проекта теста с учетом пп. 1-3.

5. Составление тестa.

Остановимся подробно на каждом из шагов.

(В качестве примера рассматривается разработка теста по пройденной теме: What makes a great holiday?)

Шаг 2

Учебные цели.

1. Изучение лексики по указанной теме.

2. Описание действий, происходящих регулярно и временно.

3. Степени сравнения прилагательных.

4. Образование сложных слов.

5. Bысказать/написать свое мнение о приоритетах, делающих путешествие приятным/интересным.

Шаг 3

Оценка уровней подготовленности студентов.

Уровней существует шесть.

1. Knowledge. На этом уровне от студента требуется, чтобы он воспроизвел что-то, что было представлено. Например, список выученных слов или что-то дословно.

2. Comprehension. На этом уровне студент должен не просто воспроизвести что-то, а понимать это что-то так, чтобы изменить каким-то образом. Здесь мы просим студента объяснить, трансформировать, обобщить, интерпретировать или предсказать.

3. Application. На этом уровне студент использует идеи, принципы, правила не просто для перефразирования или объяснения. Мы используем в задании глаголы: выберите, выполните, рассчитайте, решите, отреагируйте.

4. Analysis. На этом уровне студента могут попросить проанализировать причину и следствие, представить что-то в виде графической схемы, диаграммы.

5. Synthesis. Здесь студента просят придумать, разработать, сформулировать, а также написать эссе, стихотворение, рассказ и т.д.

6. Evaluation. На этом самом высоком уровне от студента требуется умение обсудить качество или достоинство идеи, метода, некое явление или поведение людей и т.д. и аргументировать свое мнение. Т.е. дать оценку, сравнить, осудить или оправдать.

Шаг 4

Проект теста.

Проверить:

1. правильное употребление слов: trip/journey/travel, tour/excursion);

2. умение использовать правильную степень сравнения прилагательного и модификаторы сравнительной степени. (Перефразировать данное предложение, сохранив смысл.);

3. умение описывать постоянные и временные действия (правильно использовать present simple/present continuous);

4. навык написания сложных существительных: слитно, раздельно или через дефис;

5. умение найти соответствие между проблемой и последствием;

6. умение, используя пройденное, перефразировать, сохраняя смысл;

7. умение составить предложения, ставя глагол в нужное время; раскрыть скобки (present simple/present continuous).

Шаг 5

Собственно составление теста.

3. Match the problems you might have with consequences.

4. Complete the sentences. The meaning must stay the same.

5. Make sentences by putting the verbs into the present simple or present continuous. Add any words that you need.

6. Use the correct form (present simple or present continuous) of the verb in brackets.

7. Complete the compound nouns and decide if they are one word or two, or have hyphens.

It’s natural that different people have different opinion about what makes a good holiday. One wants to have luxurious accommodation and delicious food, the other prefers romance.

I like to discover new places and learn about art and culture. So interesting places to go sightseeing are a priority for me.

I think that good company is also important. People you don’t like being with can spoil your holiday. I don’t like peace and quiet. I prefer to have some adventure and excitement. And of course, hot, sunny weather and great beaches are absolutely necessary to have an enjoyable holiday.

So, five things are a priority for me. They are interesting places to go sightseeing, good company, some adventure and excitement, hot sunny weather and great beaches.
