How I Cope with Stress

Nowadays, stress is widespread among people, due to the quickening pace of life. Numerous problems at work, at school, in private life can cause stress. Doctors even predict that stress and depression will be the “number one” problem for people.
As regards me, I am vulnerabe to stress and, as a consequence of it, depression. Every time I give up fighting stress, I have depression. But most often, I try to cope with it. For example, I try to occupy myself with affairs not connected with my problems that have caused the stress. Another way that sometimes helps me is listening to music, but sometimes it makes me more depressed.
In my opinion, the most effective way is to share your problems with close people (for me, it is my parents). They will definitely listen to you, understand the matter of your problem and help you. But, as for me, if I don’t want to receive outside help and want to cope with stress by myself, talking with parents will make me more furious and angry.
There is one more way of tackling stress for me, but it is an unreliable way – the Internet. When I am using the Internet, I forget about reality and about my problems. But when I finish and leave the Internet world, I come back to my depressed mood, problems and stress. Although it is the most unreliable way, I always choose it.
To my mind, there isn’t any reliable way of coping with stress, because stress can be caused by different problems and we can’t solve all our problems with the same method.

Living in a big city is very stressful and intense. Of course, people of megapolises are subjected to stress more than people of villages. It’s not only because of the intensive and crazy lifestyle. I think that if you live in the city – your life is full of changes, and you are always in the center of all events. For millions of people, this urban life is very hard, their life is full of stress.
What can defeat stress? What instruments are useful in the fight with stress? In my opinion, first of all you must be “in love with yourself”. If you think that you are stupid, fat, not attractive and others, your head is full of depressive thoughts and these thoughts can set you in stress. Be self-sufficient and the world will come simple!
Secondly, if you have troubles – “don’t worry, be happy”, as the song says. Turn on your favorite music, make a cup of aromatic tea, make yourself comfortable and read some interesting book. I have great confidence that you will feel better! Third and last, my advice is to travel. A change of atmosphere will help you to see the world in a new way.
To lessen your stress is to make your life as you wish. Everybody has to do things that they hate, but there are things that you love. Don’t forget about them and find pleasure for yourself more frequently!

The reason for stress can be any trifle that causes annoyance. If there is much of such kind of trifles, stress can be replaced by depression and it is much more difficult to get over depression. Sometimes you need to take anti-depressant pills. In order not to allow stress to become something more than it is, you should relax more, looking for advantages in any situation. You should learn to find more positive emotions in any kind of trouble.

Stress is one of the most important problems nowadays. Our pace of life is always increasing and it becomes harder to resist the pressure of the world around us. In order to tackle stress we should manage our time in the right way, giving ourselves time to relax. It is also essential to eat healthy food. Your friends and relaxing music will always help you to cope with depression. You should remember that there is also a way out of any problem and life is often not as bad as it seems.

In our hectic world it becomes more and more difficult to cope with stress. Stress is regarded as a serious problem of the 20th century, and in the 21th century it has been replaced by depression.
The fact is, all illnesses are caused by stress. That is why before treating an illness, you should find what it was caused by, namely – stress. All methods are good in tackling stress. One of the ways is to maintain a good mood.
People should not be saddened by trifles. The most essential thing is to have good emotions in every situation. In that case, life will become better.
