FAMOUS BOOKS

A This book is about a girl called Alice. She is seven years old. She goes to sleep and dreams that she jumps into a rabbit hole. She meets a lot of strange characters like the King and Queen of Hearts and the Cheshire Cat. He’s a cat that smiles from ear to ear. Alice has a lot of adventures. At the end of the story she wakes up. It was all a dream!

B This book is about a boy called Charlie. His family is very poor. Charlie wins a prize to visit a chocolate factory. He goes to the factory with his grandfather. There are four children with their parents. They go on a tour of the factory and have a lot of adventures. At the end of the story Mr. Wonka, the owner of the factory, gives the factory to Charlie as a present.

C The main character is a man called Gulliver. He is a doctor on a ship. He sails all over the world and has many adventures. He visits a lot of islands where he meets people who are very small and then some who are very big! At the end of the adventures he goes back home to Great Britain.

D This book is about a man called Robinson Crusoe. He likes travelling. He finds himself on an island after a heavy storm. He builds a house from wood and eats food he finds on the island. He meets a man on the island and calls him Friday. They are friends. At the end of the story a ship comes and takes the man back to Great Britain.

E The Swiss family is looking for a new home in other lands. They want to have a farm and better life for their children. They are a family of six people. They are sailing to a new country when a terrible storm crashes the ship. They start to live on an island alone. The family is happy there. But two children come back to their country.
