Предлоги места: in/at/on

Я постарался по возможности четко изложить информацию по предлогам места. Сам я уже в течение нескольких лет с большим успехом применяю этот материал на своих уроках. Его использование позволяет избежать работы одновременно с несколькими грамматическими пособиями. Материал легко воспринимается учениками, доступен для самостоятельного изучения, так как включает в себя, с моей точки зрения, простые и логичные объяснения.

Базовые случаи (1)

* Оn a river/on a road/on the way/on the coast (подразумевается береговая линия)

  • They were a great success in/at Edinburgh. (Кроме самого города здесь может подразумеваться как какое-нибудь учреждение в Эдинбурге, так и, скажем, Эдинбургский фестиваль.)

Предлоги at/in c учреждениями и организациями (7)

1. С учреждениями и организациями используется предлог at, кроме in hospital/in prison

2. Запомните выражение: at somebody’s house

3. Однако в 1 и 2 случаях может использоваться предлог in, если речь идет о самом здании.

  • We saw a play at the National Theatre.

  • There are fifty bedrooms in the Queens Hotel.

  • There are three bedrooms in Julia’s house.
